Working Student - Marketing Analyst (m/f/d)

Your mission

We’re looking for a data -savy, detail-oriented Working Student to support top management in strategic development and actively shape the future of Checkmk. In this role, you’ll help maintain and improve recurring reports, support cross-functional collaboration, and ensure that key metrics are accurate, clear, and ready to enable strategic decisions.

If you enjoy making sense of numbers, keeping things organized, and learning how different teams are interconnected through data, we’d love to hear from you.

Update and maintain recurring reports that track key marketing and business performance metrics
Gather and consolidate a structured dataset from multiple teams (e.g. Marketing, Sales, Finance)
Ensure data accuracy and consistency in the different datasets through careful validation and version control
Coordinate with stakeholders to gather missing inputs, clarify details, and align on deadlines
Follow established reporting guidelines to ensure clarity, structure, and comparability month over month
Contribute to ongoing process improvements to make reporting more efficient

Your profile

Above-average grades in economics or a comparable subject
First practical experience in corporate development, strategy consulting or start-up / scale-up
Excellent analytical skills, highly structured thinking, attention to details and enjoyment of new challenges in a dynamic environment
Very good use of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Fluency in English (written and spoken), German is a plus
Availability for 15–20 hours per week

Deine Aufgaben

Du willst praktische Einblicke in der Welt der Datenanalyse gewinnen, messbare Ergebnisse erzielen und mitten im Geschehen zwischen verschiedenen Teams arbeiten – und das alles schon während Deines Studiums? Dann ist dieser Job wie für Dich gemacht.

Wir suchen eine*n datenaffine*n und detailverliebten Werkstudent*in, der oder die unser Top-Management bei der strategischen Weiterentwicklung unterstützt – und dabei aktiv die Zukunft von Checkmk mitgestaltet. In dieser Rolle hilfst Du dabei, wiederkehrende Reports zu pflegen und zu verbessern, unterstützt die Zusammenarbeit zwischen verschiedenen Abteilungen und sorgst dafür, dass wichtige Kennzahlen korrekt, verständlich und bereit für smarte Entscheidungen sind.

Wenn Du Spaß daran hast, Zahlen zu durchdringen, Ordnung ins Datenchaos zu bringen und verstehen willst, wie Teams über Daten zusammenarbeiten, dann freuen wir uns mega, von Dir zu hören!

Du bringst unsere regelmäßigen Reports zu Marketing- und Business-Kennzahlen auf den neuesten Stand
Du sammelst strukturierte Daten aus verschiedenen Teams (z. B. Marketing, Sales, Finance) und bringst sie zusammen
Du sorgst dafür, dass alle Daten stimmen und sauber versioniert sind
Du holst fehlende Infos bei den richtigen Leuten ein, klärst offene Punkte und sorgst dafür, dass alles rechtzeitig fertig wird
Du hältst Dich an unsere Reporting-Guidelines, damit alles klar, übersichtlich und vergleichbar bleibt
Du bringst eigene Ideen ein, wie wir unsere Reporting-Prozesse noch schlauer und effizienter machen können

Dein Profil

Überdurchschnittliche Noten in einem wirtschaftswissenschafltichen oder einem vergleichbaren Fach
Erste praktische Erfahrung in den Bereichen Unternehmensentwicklung, Strategieberatung oder Start-up / Scale-up
Starke analytische Fähigkeiten, eine strukturierte Denkweise, ein Auge fürs Detail und Lust auf neue Herausforderungen in einem dynamischen Umfeld
Sehr sicherer Umgang mit MS Office, vor allem Excel und PowerPoint
Fließendes Englisch in Wort und Schrift – Deutsch ist ein Plus
Du hast 15–20 Stunden pro Woche Zeit
