Your mission
We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager (m/f/d) with IT infrastructure industry experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing product marketing strategies for the Checkmk product suite that drive awareness and adoption. You will work within the Product Management team and closely with Sales and Marketing teams to craft compelling messaging and a value proposition that resonates with our target audience.

- Develop Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and Marketing personas for all our products, use cases, verticals, and regions
- Create compelling product messaging and positioning that differentiates Checkmk across the market
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, verticals, and the competitive landscape, aimed at developing an all-encompassing value proposition
- Telemetry & Funnel Data:
- Identify friction points and guide feature prioritization based on usage insights
- Enable customer success by identifying revenue-driving features and advising on sales upsells
- Define requirements for product telemetry tooling
- Create a comprehensive strategic go-to-market toolkit, including analyses such as battlecards, Pain/Gain, Benefit Ladder, SWOT, and market segmentation
- Inform the Product strategists to ensure our offerings meet customer requirements and market demand
- Propose pricing strategies for new product lines that reflect market conditions, customer value, and competitive positioning
- Enable and align Marketing and Sales to drive multi-channel campaigns, via briefings, slide decks, and other assets
- Produce thought leadership content for external events
