Your mission
We are looking for an experienced (Technical) Product Marketing Manager (m/f/d) with a strong background in IT monitoring and deep understanding of IT administration to join our international product team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing product marketing strategies tailored to the needs of IT administrators, DevOps engineers, and monitoring professionals who use observability tools like Checkmk.

- Define and refine Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and marketing personas with a focus on IT administrators, system engineers, DevOps teams, and site reliability engineers who rely on robust monitoring solutions.
- Develop clear, technically accurate product messaging and positioning that highlights Checkmk's strengths in areas such as server monitoring, network monitoring, cloud and container observability, log analysis, and proactive alerting.
- Conduct market research to identify the core challenges of IT operations teams, including scalability, automation, SLA tracking, and integration with ITSM and configuration management tools.
- Define and analyze telemetry data and customer journey metrics to understand usage patterns and help prioritize feature development for monitoring-focused use cases.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive go-to-market toolkit including battle cards, value frameworks, SWOT analyses, and competitive positioning, with an emphasis on the monitoring and IT infrastructure space.
- Support product strategy by translating IT operations trends and monitoring best practices into actionable insights and roadmap recommendations.
- Assist with pricing strategies for new features and editions, especially in the context of enterprise monitoring requirements and competitive landscape analysis.
- Align with marketing and sales to ensure consistent messaging across multichannel campaigns, including website content, webinars, datasheets, and presentations tailored for technical buyers.
- Develop thought leadership materials and contribute to industry events, with a focus on trends in observability, open-source monitoring, and hybrid IT environments.
