Your mission

• You define strategic projects together with the senior leadership team and drive their implementation 
• You prepare detailed financial analyses, present the results and make suggestions for operational measures 
• You create business plans, financial models and project budgets, track and report on their performance with the support of Controlling
• You support projects of all functions as a corporate finance expert (“subject matter expert”)
• You act as a contact person and coordinator for external service providers (e.g. consultants, banks, lawyers) for specific projects
• You support the C-level in preparing investor / shareholder meetings and capital measures
• You will develop a deep understanding of our finance and risk function and support the Head of Finance with developing the function, including organizational structure, systems and processes, guidelines and ICS
• You drive "Operational Excellence" projects and process improvements in collaboration with the process owners: in particular for the O2C, P2P and R2R processes, with a focus on automation, digitalization and standardization. You will be responsible for cross-functional coordination and progress reporting to the Senior Leadership Team
• You report directly to the CFO

Your profile

• You have a degree in business administration with a focus on corporate finance and/or strategy or a comparable focus, ideally in combination with relevant vocational trainings (e.g. CFA, CPA, project management, etc.).
• You have several years of professional experience in management consulting, corporate finance or corporate development, ideally in combination with experience in “scale-up” companies
• You have very good project management skills and experience with process improvements in the finance function 
• You have very good corporate finance and financial modeling skills, good accounting and assurance skills are a plus
• You have experience in dealing with senior management and communicating with investors / shareholders
• You have independently planned projects, managed the implementation and realized the project goals. You are also comfortable coordinating cross-functional teams and enjoy tackling complex topics and challenges
• An independent and structured way of working combined with high quality standards are among your strengths
• You are happy to work with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and treat everyone with respect and appreciation
• You communicate fluently in German and English
